A man appeared in court yesterday charged with abducting, imprisoning and intending to have unlawful sexual intercourse with a newspaper girl aged 14 last month.
Raymond Hewlett, aged 43, unemployed, of Woodside, Telford, Shropshire, was remanded in custody until Monday by magistrates in Northwich, Cheshire.; There was no application for bail.
